My name is Jack Buckner, I am a professional Sound Engineer based in Reading providing Location Sound and Audio Post-Production services for the creative industries. With over nine years of experience recording, editing and mixing soundtracks for commercials, corporate communications, documentaries, films, branded content and TV, I make great sound a priority from pre production through to the final mix.
Working with sound has been my passion since teenage me begrudgingly accepted that I wasn’t destined to become a rock star. This is why every project I’m a part of is approached with a great deal of energy and enthusiasm. Having worked in most areas of sound for moving image I bring extensive knowledge to every project. My career began straight out of university when I landed a job engineering full-time for a renowned Film & TV composer, during this time I worked on a number of high profile productions released around the globe. This period gave me a great base to expand my skillset and branch out on my own as a Production Sound and Post-Production freelancer.
Over the years I have been fortunate enough to work on a number of fantastic productions including commercials for Lloyds Pharmacy & Debenhams, a documentary for the WaterBear Network, a number of feature films for Thomas and Friends, as well as branded short films for the likes of Xiaomi and Thales.
